The staff were very friendly, especially Apple, Moo and the other receptionist (which I forgot to get her name, last but not least thanks to the lady manning the tour desk for giving me the instruction and direction to the places we need esto visit.

I'm writing to give compliments about the hotel and the staff. I love the comfy bed. Everything is in order especially the request I have told you earlier. The bathroom is clean. Extra thumbs up for the FOC dvd player & dvd movie. Though sometimes having difficulties with the Thai language but they were so friendly. And also thanks for the free transportation to Nana BTS :). If i ever have the chance, I surely will complete my stay with Salil Hotel.

Hi All,

Thank you for the 6 wonderful days me & my wife had staying in your hotel. (Jan 23 - 28, 2009) The staff is wonderful & helpful, especiall the driver of the shuttle service, always bringing a smile. The room is small compare to others but it's clean & neat. Breakfast is of little choice but the food taste good & pleasant.

Location of the hotel is a little way in the lane but just a call and there he is, driving the yellow small cart. (Only able to sit 3 the most) coming to take you back home (hotel). If you are not tired after those long shopping spree, a walk down the lane you are able to see the restaurant, bar and even those push cart selling thai people favourite food along the small lane leading back.

One recommendation, the pizza restaurant (beside Soi 8 restaurant / bar) is very good but a little expensive. if you go there on tues or wed, they have this offer pasta & pizza for 180 bath only. Should try. .

Lastly, will come back next year for our trip to bangkok again.

It was small and sweet, hygienic and very centrally located. The girls at the coffee shop/restaurant were very helpful and gave us great tips on how to make the most of local travel and where best to shop in both budget and lavish circumstances! It was very close to the train station and getting a cab to the airport was no problem.

Its very close to the market .. and other restaurants, so whether you want to dart out for essentials at a 7/11 store or pamper yourself with a Thai foot massage.. everything is a stone's throw away distance.

The rooms are very small but the decor is sweet and the beds are comfortable. We mostly got to the room only to crash at night... and it served the purpose well! The best part was ... it was actually very affordable ... for a couple on a budget holiday!

Stayed for three nights . got a deal on the net, if i,d have known how nice it was i would have made it six!,colonial style front looked great all lit up in december.. right down soi 8 so very peacefull, get a lift on the hotels golf cart/tuk tuk to the main drag within sight of the nana skytrain esculator, a little way down the soi i suppose.. but still would book it again!

What can we expect from a hotel with such rate? Everything else except one of the best... But what we had there was one of the best hotel we ever stayed, it's small, but the staffs are friendly and can communicate in English.

The room was clean and well designed, the food served in restaurant met our tastes, although lack of variety. The hotel is 700 - 800 m away from Nana Skytrain Station. But the 24 hours service shuttle cart solved our problem. The hotel is 30 minutes away from the airport (without traffic jam), with taxi, cost about 500 Baht (including expressway toll). And the last but not least, rent DVD for free, we like it very much!

It's not bad for the price they are asking for...we stayed there for three nights and were very happy with the cozy/homelike feel to it. The breakfast was good, it's really close to the malls and the tube station.

And they have a shuttle service to the tube station which really helps if you are coming back after a full day shopping. It's very basic but very nice. the room is also great!

I will give topps to the bedding, and the shower. Very comfortable! The service though was sub par. I won't bother to exppand, because overall I would stay again. Why they don't have a plunge pool is beyond me; it's the only thing missing.

First, I tend to dislike big way overpriced "name" hotels. This place is classy, comfy and the staff is great. It is a quiet location off of Sukuhmvit with free transport 24/7 to the main drag. The rooms are updated, the bathroom is very roomy, the AC is killer and the LCD TV with the DVD player makes it all that extra good. The rooms aren't huge but I value quality and amenities over extra space. Finally, they are totally down with you bringing "home" a new "friend".

This is a real find in Bangkok. It's modern, charming and in a great location just off Sukhumvit Road near Nana Skytrain station. Sure it's at the end of the soi (as one other reviewer mentioned) but it's less than a 10-minute walk from Sukhumvit Road and is peaceful. The hotel rooms are clean and nicely decorated with fresh colours. Each room has a DVD player and there's high-speed internet access downstairs. The breakfast was varied and delicious, and the hotel restaurant served a decent dinner (when it was storming outside and we didn't want to walk to a restaurant). The hotel staff are helpful. It's mid-range, convenient and an escape from Bangkok's bustle.

I was very enjoy staying at Salil Hotel. The room is very beautiful and fully equiped such as LCD TV , DVD player with free DVD movies rental. The room style is unique from other hotel. I feel very comfortable when I stayed. My little boy also get a good care of the hotel staff. They are very nice and helpful. Buffet breakfast is fantastic and the a la carte menu is delicious. The wifi internet is fast and reasonable price. The location is great. Only 1 minutes by hotel golf cart took me to Nana BTS station. Very convenient. I definitely come to stay at Salil Hotel again.

I loved the hotel. My girlfriend and I stayed there March 2008 and paid $60 per night. The rooms were clean and tastefully done. A very cute hotel.

They did have some hot water issues, but only on the last night I was there. The hot water would fluctuate but would never completely turn off. Nothing major.

During my time there we did end up staying on the top floor for one of the nights and I'd have to say that it gets rather hot on that floor. I'd advise for you to stay on one of the lower floors (they only have 4 floors for rooms) as there is no elevator either.

I was very happy with the hotel. You get great value for what you pay.
